What an interesting story about the first interracial prom in Mississippi. I don't think I would have believed it if you didn't write about it. If I get a chance, I'm going to go to your exhibit this month. I'll try to set a date with Janette. She had a baby too this year (in October)! Thanks for your congratulatory message regarding Julia. I don't remember if I ever responded, but I meant to. Unbelievably, she will be one year old on Saturday.
Anyhow, I'm commenting on THIS post because my friend Lana was one of the make-up artists for it, so it caught my attention.
